? Need Help using the Virtual Tour Viewer ?
Note:
Virtual Tour Panoramic images can
take a while to load.
Expect a load time of approximately 20 seconds to one minute over a
modem connection.
The toolbar will change according to the type of web content displayed in the viewer window. Use the following chart for the toolbar buttons and their descriptions.
Toolbar Button | Function |
Zoom In |
Zooms into the image. Click
Zoom In, then click anywhere in the viewer window. To zoom in
continuously, hold down the mouse button (this works only for objects
and panoramas). For 2D images, click the mouse to continue to zoom in. Note: If you try to zoom past the maximum image resolution, the Maximum Zoom icon appears in the upper left corner of the viewer window. |
Zoom Out |
Zooms out of the image. Click Zoom Out, then click anywhere in the viewer window. To zoom out continuously, hold down the mouse button (this works only for objects and panoramas). For 2D images, click the mouse to continue to zoom out. |
Pan Image |
Lets you click the image and drag to view a new segment of the image. (2D and Image Objects only) |
Navigate Panorama |
Lets you click the image and navigate to view a new segment of the image. (Panorama Images only) |
Rotate Image Object |
Lets you drag across the image object to rotate it and view all sides. (Image Objects only) |
Magnifying Glass |
Shows the area within the box at the next zoom level of the image. Click and drag the mouse to a magnify the desired section. (2D images only) |
Initial View |
Returns an image to the initial view after you've zoomed in. |
Show Hotspot(s) |
Shows any hotspot links. |
Previous Image |
Shows the previous image in the Virtual Tour. |
Next Image |
Shows the next image in the Virtual Tour. |
Note: When the viewer is downloading information from the server, an hourglass symbol appears. Press ESC to stop downloading information from the server.
The following minimum hardware and software are needed to use the Virtual Tour Viewer.
